Sculpture, Drawing

I have taught art extensively to both children and adults. I particularly love teaching art to young children. My workshops for children include Make Way for Play, funded through a Community Arts Partnership Arts Education Grant and “Sculpture Tools and Imaginary Places, funded by a grant from Ithaca Public Education Initiative (IPEI). I have taught additional workshops for young children including Puppets and Places, Imagine That! and Imaginary Places at Abovoagogo Art Studio in Ithaca.

I taught sculpture and drawing full-time as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Hamilton College from 1997-2001 and as an Artist in Residence at Brandeis University from 1990-1997. I was a Visiting Instructor in Sculpture at Hobart and William Smith Colleges in fall 2016 and spring 2019. I served on the Ithaca City School District Board of Education from 2015-2021.
